Training Schedule 7/28 - 8/3

Ok, training schedule for the week:

Monday, 7/28: Gym or beach walk, 1 hr (not completed, went to doctors instead. Nothing serious...just some pain in shoulder I needed checked out and they had a free appointment today last minute. Will have x-rays on Thursday or Friday this week. No reason why I can't continue with cardio...but will skip the Fluidity until source of pain is discovered.)
Tuesday, 7/29: Gym, 1 hr (completed, took it easy but still made it to the gym. 50 min, speed between 3 and 4.5 mph, max HR 159, ave HR 140....I didn't make it to the gym until almost 9:30pm. I figured at least the place would be empty....NOT. Apparently ppl in CA don't sleep, they just exercise all night. The place was packed!)
Wed, 7/30: Gym, 1 hr (not completed....my pain got worse after the work-out yesterday so I am going to cool it with training until my doctor figures out what is wrong with me. I get X-rays done tomorrow and will post what his thoughts on the results...)

You're rocking!

Hi Dad....sounds like you guys are really getting into the training. I agree, the physical training is WAY easier than losing weight. :-( Every pound lost is one less to drag up the mountain. :-) That is what I am going to try and tell myself anyways.....

School started on Monday. So now I have to fit my training into full time work and full time school. It can be done. I am taking a sort-of week and a half break though. I have company coming this weekend...we are going Disneyland, the beach, etc...which is technically a ton of walking and therefore training. :-) Then grandmother and Karen are coming on Monday for 7 days. I know I will have to take those 7 days off from training. However I will try and fit in some strength training in when I can (my personal trainer in Germany gave me tips for fitting in strength training throughout the day...such as doing squats while brushing my teeth).

Action fluidity pics coming soon....

Time to plan

383 lbs is what I weighted this morning. I'm walking the 2 miles with no effort, and I know the 3.5 miles will be easy. This walk is not flat but it's not Kilimanjaro. There is no doubt I got to lose a lot of weight to make it to the top of kilimanjaro. So I need to work out a plan that I'm walking 7 miles a day and weight 280lbs. This is July 2008, so I should have about 16 months. The hardest part will be losing this weight.
